There is a woman in Somalia
Scraping for pearls on the roadside
There's a force stronger than nature
Keeps her will alive
This is how she's dying
She's dying to survive
Don't know what she's made of
I would like to be that brave

She cries to the heaven above
There is a stone in my heart
She lives a life she didn't choose
And it hurts

There is a woman in Somalia
The sun gives her no mercy
The same sky we lay under
Burns her to the bone
Long as afternoon shadows
It's gonna take her to get home
Each grain carefully wrapped up
Pearls for her little girl...
finally
We made amends but nothings mended
As what I gave can not be mended

You made a mountain of a molehill
Well that's what I will tell myself still
I led you on and leadings wrong

I made a meal of it and stumbled
We both knew that my cookie crumbled
I led you on but leading's wrong

A kiss is just a kiss

I think that's what fools say
But that is what this is

Have I been a fool?

I've been told I'm cruel
Due to what I do
I've been told I'm cruel
To you
the rain makes me hate you more. is it the gloom or the dark shadows themself that makes me think of how much i hate you? stop calling, please. you lied to me and to yourself..

remember the consiquences we talked about
i need time:much neeeded time...

i think we find distraction easier to say yes to then to things we know are right? ive been bad..its in this nature; but i am good at holding in...orgional sin am i. its alright; its alright. no ones got it all. power to the people who wonder about plesure
Power to the people
We don't want it
We want pleasure
And the T.V.s try to rape us
And I guess that they're succeeding
Now we're going to these meetings
But we're not doin' any meetin'
And we're trying to be faithful but we're cheatin', cheatin', cheatin'

I'm the hero of the story
Don't need to be saved
